We get it. You work or study hard Monday through Friday and consider your weekends “sacred.” In this case, sacred means free for recreation, to watch games, travel, and maybe a little shopping. The last thing you might want to do is set the alarm on Sunday morning and go to a church gathering.

We feel the same way. That’s why we moved our weekly worship gatherings to Thursdays at 6:30PM. And, we love it. We also love taking one of the weekend days to experience the ancient spiritual practice of Sabbath rest.

We’d love to welcome you on an upcoming Thursday evening. We finish up by 7:45PM which seems good for families as well as early risers on Fridays.

Plan your visit and we will:

- Connect with you to help answer any question you have.

- Send you a video that walks you through your visit.

- Pre-register your kids, if you have them, to save you time.

Hey there! Thank you for stopping by our website. If you are searching for a good church, we know we are the place for you. Feel free to check out the "New Here" page linked below where you can find the answers to all your questions. If you have never been to our church before, come by this Thursday! We would love to get to know you. We want to see lives changed here by the power of Jesus Christ, and we see that happen every week when someone steps through our doors. We look forward to meeting you! God bless.

Our Mission

Anchor Church is devoted to moving people towards exchanging misconceptions about their God for Truth; becoming worshipers of their creator - rather than created things. Romans 1:25

Our Vision

We strive to be a church without walls. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the lost and the broken. It is there that the lost will be found. Most churches find it is comfortable to stay within the walls, but we make it an effort to be like the church from the book of Acts, to see our city changed.

Our Values

Accepting - A Home For All

Reaching - A Hope For All

Growing - A Path For All

Excelling - A Quest For All

Giving - A Spirit For All

My wife and I found Anchor soon after we moved to Boston - we immediately knew this was the church community we were seeking.
It’s a great community that’s focused on growing relationships - both with one another and with God. The teachings are Bible focused and practically applicable to daily life. Not only are the services welcoming, but the music is fantastic! Anchor Boston is a great and diverse church community to call home whether you’re a undergrad/grad student, young professional, or established family. If you’re looking for an inviting space to worship, develop spiritually and foster new relationships, Anchor is that place.
