Honoring Pastor Ryan prior to his sabbatical

Ryan and Lauren Seler have been with our Anchor community since we launched in early 2013. Ryan began serving as our worship arts pastor, then transitioned to associate/teaching pastor. We want to honor them before Ryan goes on a well-deserved sabbatical in July.

Join us at 6:30PM in our worship space at 351 Boylston St.

Music and Prayer Night

Throughout the year we designate certain Thursday gatherings as “Music and Prayer Nights.” These gatherings have an extended time of musical worship and a brief teaching on the subject of prayer, followed by a time of personal and corporate prayer.

Music & Prayer nights begin at 6:30PM at 351 Boylston St. in Boston!

Prayer Walk on Juneteenth

Juneteenth dates back to 1865 when slaves were liberated in Galveston, TX. On Saturday, June 19, this holiday will be observed.  While we celebrate, we also realize much progress and healing is still needed in our country when it comes to racism, equality, and justice. Join us for a special prayer walk on that day, starting at 10AM and originating from 351 Boylston St.

Real Talk

Real Talk is a safe place for women to discuss various topics. These occasional meetings are on Saturdays mornings and either at our 351 Boylston Ave venue or virtually via ZOOM.

Recent topics include Experiencing Mental Health during COVID-19, Identity and Race, Walking with Purpose in Life, and Racism and the Christ-community. Remaining Real Talks in 2021 are scheduled for September 11 and November 13. Also, just for Moms - stay tuned for an announcement about a Moms Club launching in 2021!! We want to encourage Anchor Moms by supporting them in topical conversations and prayer!

Community Meal

Community Meals are special evenings for our community when food and fellowship replace the normal format for a Thursday worship gathering.

No pre-ordering of food is necessary - we will have plenty for all. While Community Meals are currently suspended due to COVID, we look forward to resuming these enjoyable evenings when safe to do so.

The Roundtable

The Roundtable is designed to facilitate meaningful discussions on current topics which are relevant to men today. Remaining Roundtables in 2021 are scheduled for September 11 and November 13. Also, just for Dads - stay tuned for an announcement about a Dads Club launching in 2021!! We want to encourage Anchor Dads by supporting them in topical conversations and prayer!

Baptism gatherings are a special time of celebrating new life in Christ.  We normally have a summer baptism at a beach near Boston following a fun picnic. We also have baptisms on occasion during a special Thursday worship gathering.
