UPCOMING EVENTS

Welcome Back Night - September 9th

We are hosting a homecoming  for our Anchor Community!

With COVID-19 protocols and summer affecting our ability to come together in-person, we invite our entire Anchor community to return on September 9 in our 6:30PM worship gathering. We begin a new series, “The Beautiful Community,” with the teaching: “What the Church was Meant to Be.” Our amazing band will lead us in worship and our children will have a great experience in Anchor Kids. Afterward, enjoy a Georgetown cupcake while you get a photo or two with friends in our photo booth! Welcome back, Anchor family!

College Night - September 23rd

Over 70 colleges and universities resume in-person this fall in Boston, with over 250,000 students converging on our city. How exciting to welcome future world influencers to greater Boston! Our gathering September 23 at 6:30PM will focus on college students, especially those on campuses near our church location (Berklee College of Music, Northeastern, BU, BC, Emerson College, and the New England Conservatory).

Did we mention complimentary burritos from Boloco after the gathering? If you are a college student in Boston, we’d love to have you join us!

'Any Given Monday' - November 4th

Music and college students are in Anchor’s DNA. We have enjoyed hosting concerts by music artists from Berklee College of Music since before we launched as a church in early 2013. After hosting concerts at Berklee’s David Friend auditorium and Cafe 929, Anchor now has it’s own venue at 351 Boylston St. “Any Given Monday” is the name of our new concert series, which begins November 4 at 7:00PM.  Admission is free and food/drinks will be served. Interested  Berklee College of Music students should contact info@anchorboston.com for an initial conversation!

Bring a Friend Night  - September 16th

September 16 at 6:30PM is Bring a Friend night at Anchor. We will continue our “Beautiful Community” series with a teaching on what the church is and is not, according to the early church. Afterward, enjoy ice cream or an Italian ice. We encourage each attender of Anchor to bring a friend or two who is seeking a faith community in Boston.

Picnic @ the Public Garden - September 30th

The early church made eating together a priority. Conversations can and should be mutually encouraging when we “break bread.” On September 30, bring your own picnic dinner and a blanket or chair and join us at Boston's beautiful Public Garden. We will meet inside the garden near the corner of Beacon and Arlington streets (where we met this summer). There will be face-painting for the kids and game to play! We will begin at our normal 6:30PM time.

There will be no activities at 351 Boylston that evening.

Upcoming Retreats

Anchor is hosting two retreats in the near future. Our annual couples retreat is October 15-16 in Gloucester at the beautiful Inn-By-The Sea. The new year of 2022 will feature our young adult retreat, February 18-20, at Singing Hills Christian Camp in New Hampshire. Great things happen at retreats - new and deeper friendships, tons of fun, and growing closer to Jesus!  For registration information, email info@anchorboston.com!
